ABOUT
Keara Skeries was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, California.
She is now based in Brooklyn, New York where she attends Pratt Institute
for a BFA in Photography.Art and writing has always played a huge role
in Keara’s life, she has experimented with multiple mediums and continues
to use this interdisciplinary knowledge to help shape her work. Keara
explores multiple topics in her work such as dreams, death, rebirth,
childhood, and more. Keara uses both writing and photography as a way
to study and disect our constantly evolving society and the people whom
she surrounds herself, storytelling through research and observation.
