A Roadtrip made of Words (2023)

There is a house out in the prairie lands of Montana

Empty and lonely it stands

An abyss of grass that dances in the wind

I think we could find a home here.

And as the sun showers come to a pause

As you and her dance in the road

As I feel the wind chill hit my bones

I think maybe we already found a home here.

Not in the house on the hill

But here in these vast lands

Scattered with cows and signs about god

Here in the little blue car that keeps pushing us

Further from anything we know

I think I found a home here.

Playing cards under the stars

Watching Stellar Jays fly

Under the blankets in our little tent

I found a home there, with you and her.
